FONTES HISTÓRICAS NAS SALAS DE AULA DE MATEMÁTICA: O QUE DIZEM OS ESTUDOS INTERNACIONAIS

O uso de fontes históricas nas salas de aula de matemática é reconhecidamente uma tarefa complexa. Mesmo assim, é um dos modos que a comunidade internacional de educadores
matemáticos tem lançado mão ao introduzir a história da matemática no ensino e na aprendizagem de matemática. Diante disso surgem duas questões: O que tem sido feito para
viabilizar o uso de fontes históricas em sala de aula? Quais argumentos têm sido usados para justificar tal uso? No presente artigo apresentamos alguns dos aspectos relevantes da
produção em artigos de periódicos e anais de eventos da última década na temática em discussão.
